We each have our unique stories.
Sometimes there is indisputable pain that seems to transcend and touch every aspect of our lives. As years pass it can become more obvious that we are impacting those around us with our unresolved feelings and limiting beliefs. It comes out in our daily behavior. Excessive conflict with those closest to us, job dissatisfaction, feelings of increasing worthlessness or internal unhappiness can ensue.
We negatively (or positively) impact our partners, our children, our closest friends and extended family, and we take our pain into every crevice of our lives. We become stuck in these dances with others but feel powerless to change it.
But we can.
It can seem as if others are just happier and perhaps more deserving. We may even start to believe that this is as good as it gets and work hard to settle into these unfulfilling stories. All the while we continue numbing the pain by overeating, over spending, over drinking, and so on.
We are far from powerless in rewriting our narratives and making real lasting change.
Therapy is this process.
Therapy is a practice of showing up, bringing our stories into consciousness awareness, letting go of what doesn’t serve us, and moving forward with more clarity of what we want to manifest into our lives.
We can stop the old patterns by acknowledging and owning our own pain, rather than projecting it elsewhere. From here, you will leave your well-worn paths behind and enter into more fully, your own joy.
Therapy is an investment in you.
Tell about it.”

"To love without knowing how to love wounds the person we love. To know how to love someone, we have to understand them. To understand, we need to listen."
Thich Nhat Hanh, How to Love
Tracy improved my ability to build and maintain healthy and trusting relationships with my clients and supervises through her clinical supervision. She helped me uncover countertransference issues I was experiencing and provided me with careful guidance in order to overcome these barriers to providing effective treatment and supervision. Tracy took the time to develop me professionally and clinically in areas where I lacked confidence, training, and experience. Her confidence in me helped build my confidence in myself. She was warm, nonjudgmental, approachable, and professional, which in turn helped me feel safe enough to discuss my vulnerabilities with her. She equipped me with valuable clinical and supervisory tools that I now utilize on a daily basis in my work. I continue to seek out her direction and expertise in these areas.
