Daring Self Compassion Workshop
"Worthiness doesn't have prerequisites." - Brené Brown
When your self talk is not generated from kindness, and you find it hard to be compassionate with yourself, it's hard to feel calm, love yourself, and fight the noise that takes you off course.
This workshop offers a space for you to listen and connect to others while staying grounded in your own self worth. Utilizing the research of Dr. Brené Brown and Dr. Kristin Neff we will explore how your self talk gets in the way of you truly connecting to those you care about. Through experiential exercises, guided imagery/meditation, and group sharing you will step into yourself and realize how much you really do matter.
This workshop is a one-and-a-half day program, scheduled on a Friday evening 6pm-8pm and continuing on the following Saturday from 9am-3pm.
Daring Helpers: Expanding Your Empathy Practice and Understanding Shame
This is a highly experiential workshop taken from Dr. Brené Brown's curriculum, The Daring Way™. Gain an understanding of what's potentially holding both you and your clients/students back in an effort to SHOW UP|BE SEEN|LIVE BRAVE™. This workshop offers a parallel process for you to explore your own triggers with shame and at the same time learn tools and techniques to pass on to your clients/students. This workshop is relevant to helpers that work in education, clinical, and/or organizational settings.
